Everything you need to get started and make the most of Wortkraft A2.
On first launch you accept a short privacy notice and enter your first and last name — it will appear on your Certificate of Glory. The interface language is auto-chosen from your device (one of 9 interface languages) and can be changed any time in Settings.
Recommended path: open a module → pick a unit → read Theory, drill it in Practice, then check yourself in Test and Type-in.
The home screen shows your overall progress, a shortcut to the verb section, and the 14 modules marked with golden gothic initials. Tap a module to see its units.
A red ruby marks the last module and unit you opened. The ruby button next to the «Niveau A2» heading jumps straight back to where you stopped.
Each unit opens on four tabs:
A unit counts as passed ✅ when you score 80%+ over a block of answers.
The Verbs section is a full conjugation table: pick a verb and a tense to see all six persons. It covers 208 verbs from the exam word list in Präsens, Perfekt, Präteritum, Plusquamperfekt, Futur I and Konjunktiv II.
Use the search field to find a verb by its infinitive or its translation, or filter by group: irregular, regular, separable, modal. Every form can be played out loud.
You have 60 seconds to choose as many correct verb forms as you can. Tap the golden gear at the top-right to pick which tenses to include.
Difficulty blends the weight of the tenses you chose with how fast you answered — Konjunktiv II and Plusquamperfekt earn more stars than Präsens.
The 📜 scroll button (next to the trophy) opens a personal certificate on parchment, written in calligraphy: it states that the valiant learner has mastered German verb conjugation, with your name, your best count out of 208 verbs, the number of tenses, and your star rating.
Open it from the progress card. Medals track units passed, perfect tests, solving streaks, speed records, total correct answers, days in a row and time in the app — each with a progress bar. A reset button clears study progress (your name, language and bookmark stay).
Open the medallion at the top-right of the home screen.
All settings are saved locally and restored on the next launch.

Wortkraft A2 ("the App"), developed by Kuka Lab, is a German grammar training tool for level A2. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App handles, how it is used, and your rights.
The App is designed to work entirely on your device without transmitting personal information to any server.
The App stores on your device only: the name you enter, your interface language, chosen background, study progress, records and your bookmark. This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the App.
The App does not integrate any analytics, advertising or tracking services. Purchases are verified through RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous device identifier and the purchase status only. The App is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play; your use of those platforms is subject to their respective privacy policies.
Wortkraft PRO is a one-time in-app purchase (no subscription). All payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Kuka Lab never receives or stores your payment card or billing details — these are handled entirely by the platform. We receive only the anonymised transaction status needed to grant or restore access to paid features.
The App does not transmit any information and is safe for use by all ages.
We may update this Privacy Policy if the App's functionality changes. Changes will appear on this page with an updated effective date.
